Abstract

This study aims to highlight the efficiency of the Algerian Islamic banks and through it focus on the two most important banks in Algeria, namely, Al Baraka Bank of Algeria and Al Salam Bank of Algeria during the period between 2015-2019. Where we have shown the theoretical side of the concept of Islamic banks in all their aspects, we focus on the most important methods of measuring the efficiency of these banks, and in the last we did an applied study compared to some of the financial indicators of the two banks for the above-mentioned period. Islamic through: profitability indicators, investment of funds, liquidity indicator.
