Abstract

Study summary: The current study aimed at revealing psychological immunity and its relationship to social support among a sample of students who failed the baccalaureate exam by examining the nature of the relationship between the partial degree of psychological immunity dimensions and the total degree of social support among students who failed the baccalaureate exam. The psychological immunity measure of the researchers, Palestine Ibrahim Mustafa Jabrini, after it was adapted to the Algerian environment by the researchers Faiza Bourahla and Sahrawi Nabila, and the measure of social support by the researchers "Maryam Bonab" and Nawal Bousaid", where the number of the sample was (80) distributed on both sexes (male and females) for the academic season (2022-2023) by using the analytical descriptive approach and calculating the Pearson correlation coefficient using the SPSS system, we reached the following results: -The existence of a statistically significant correlation between the average total score of psychological immunity and the average total score of social support for a sample of students who failed the baccalaureate exam, . -There is a statistically significant correlation between the average partial score for the containment dimension (psychological immunity) and the average total score for social support among students who failed the baccalaureate exam. -There is a statistically significant correlation between the average partial score of the adaptive coping dimension (psychological immunity) and the average total score of social support for students who failed the baccalaureate exam, . -There is a statistically significant correlation between the average partial score for the self-regulation dimension (psychological immunity) and the average total score for social support among students who failed the baccalaureate exam.
