Abstract

Study summary : The current era is witnessing great technical progress in the means and techniques of communication and information, which has benefited many fields and sectors, the most important of which is education, which has invested this progress in an effective manner, whether by integrating these developments into the traditional process or by creating an integrated advanced education that depends mainly on It provides high-quality and efficient means and communication technologies, which was called by many terms and concepts such as online education, e-learning, distance learning, digital education, virtual education, learning communities and other terms. Many societies have adopted this style of education in order to develop education and achieve greater quality and effectiveness of the outputs of the educational process. And the Algerian University, like other universities, has created an e-learning cell, which is based on the creation of an e-learning platform and the formation of both professors and students to move forward with this new style of education. This study aimed at a broader knowledge of the reality of e-learning at the university professor and the extent of its application through knowledge of the components and preparations that the university prepared to implement The project is in addition to revealing the various competencies and teaching skills that the university professor derives from this e-learning to apply in the educational process. key words: E-learning - competencies of university professors - teaching skills - pedagogical training for university professors.
