Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to explore employees' perceptions of effective leadership models and analyze the impact of these perceptions on performance and job satisfaction—specifically, their thoughts and opinions towards managerial leadership. The central question posed was: What is the relationship between employees' perceptions of leadership and their performance and job satisfaction? The study hypothesized the following: 1) Leadership that focuses on employee needs leads to improved performance, and 2) Leadership that focuses on subordinates according to employees contributes to their job satisfaction. The study consisted of four chapters: starting with the first chapter on the methodological framework, followed by the second chapter titled "Social Representations," the third chapter on managerial leadership, and concluding with the fourth chapter on study procedures and hypothesis data analysis. The descriptive method was employed, utilizing survey techniques distributed among employees. The study sample consisted of a simple random sample of 63 employees. The study's findings indicated that formal relationships between supervisors and subordinates significantly influence employees' professional decisions. Employees tend to stay in an organization if relationships are based on official duties performance, whereas personal or conflictual relationships may drive employees to consider external job opportunities under certain conditions. This orientation reflects the impact of organizational relationships on employees' professional decisions and their desire to improve their job conditions. Overall, these findings underscore the importance of effective leadership, communication, and collaboration in achieving employee satisfaction and enhancing their performance within the organization. Strengthening these factors could lead to a positive work environment conducive to sustainable organizational performance improvement.
