Abstract

The study aimed through the main problem to study and evaluate the contribution of the monetary reforms in Algeria in acheiving the monetary stability under the free movement of capital. The study based on probalities those monetary reforms is one of the toughest challenges facing the monetary policy, especially in the light of the free movement of capital. To unswer the perspect problematic and examing the correctness of supositions the study used the descriptive methodology with the analytique methodology as it is convenient for overview the monetary policies during the period of reforms. The study reached to an important result that Algeria had approximately stability excepting some inflationary periods like in 1997 the year of performi ng economical perfermance program that being enforced by Word Monetary Fund due to the inabi lity of controlling economical and monetary variables during that period, conversly the 2013 had witnessed a clear monetary shrinkage due to the reduction of petrole baril prices, and twice and inflexibility of the device prodctive of the state, all this factors led a reductionin the mass monetary growth. Through the study we reach to an important result that the free movement of capital didn’t infleunce the monetary stability in Algeria considering that Algeria is in the first stages of financial libiralization. This, The problem doesn’t i nvolve the reforme of the financial sector as a whole but it have many sides and related to the economicsystem of the state as a whole.
