Abstract

Keywords: financial planning, financial performance, financial structure, financial planning in the operational directorate to communicate with the media. Using financial planning to build an optimal financial structure for the institution (case study of the operational directorate for communication of the medium). Our study aimed to identify the phases and types of financial planning, its considerations and practical importance, in addition to the extent of the impact of the sources of funding on the financial situation of the institution. The case study applied financial analysis tools to the operational directorate of communications based on the financial statements during the period 2015-2017. Our study reached a number of results, the most important of which are: - Financial planning is a regulatory activity of the financial field that seeks to determine financial objectives and try to achieve them to better use the means available. - The optimal financial structure depends on a combination of private funds and debt in the form and the extent to which the cost of capital is minimized and thus maximizing the value of the institution. - The Directorate needs more effective planning for better use of its resources to maximize the value of the institution
