Inslight into novel HTL and ETL materials and architectures for perovskite solar cells with efficiency using scaps-1D

Abstract

In this project, we aim to perform modeling and numerical simulation of a solar cell using the SCAPS-1D simulation program. The studied solar cell has an N-I-P type structure, with its active layer based on a hybrid (organic-inorganic) triple cations materials ((FAPbI3)0.77(MAPbBr3)0.14(CsPbI3)0.09). This semiconductor has demonstrated its efficiency in the field of photovoltaic. The objective of this study is primarily focused on improving the performance of the solar cell, specifically enhancing the reproducibility and stability of perovskite solar cells, as they tend to degrade rapidly. To achieve this, we have proposed the use of novel such as Se/Te,Cu2O, D-PBTTT-14, ZrS2, and WS2 as Holes transport layer (HTL) and Electrons transport layer (ETL) respectively and varying the thickness of the active layer to obtain the optimal parameters that ensure the proper functioning of the cell. The electrical behavior of 3D PVK-based solar cells is a crucial aspect to analyze and enhance in order to improve their overall performance.
