Abstract

This studyaimed to determine the relationshipbetween public investments and the economicgrowth in Algeriaduring the period (1990-2019), depending on descriptive analytical and the experimentalapproachs, the researchwasdividedintothreechapters, the first and the second chaptersweredevoted to the presentation of the economicliterature of public investments and the economicgrowth, while the thirdchapterwasdevoted to analyzing the variables and to appliedstudyusingeconometricmethodology. Whenusing the ARDL model, wefoundthatthereis a positive relation between the public investments and economicgrowth in Algeriaduring the period of study, butitwasweakdespite the hugeamountsallocated to covergovernmentinvestmentspending, the achievedresultsremainbelow the requiredlevel, whichnecessitates a review of the policies.
