Nowadays, solar energy is widely used to pump water. The power-voltage characteristic of a photovoltaic panel in the case of partial shading shows several local points, and it is difficult for conventional techniques to converge to the global point, resulting in a loss of power. This work will propose the maximum power point tracking (MPPT) method based on the Remora optimization algorithm to improve the performance of our photovoltaic pumping system so that it operates at its maximum power and ensures that the voltage delivered by the photovoltaic system remains constant, to feed the induction machine which is controlled by direct torque control (DTC). Simulation results demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed technique for finding the global maximum power point (GMPP).fr_FR
