Abstract
This dissertation investigates the impact of Algerian culture on language acquisition among Master students at MEDEA University. It delves into language interference from Vernacular Arabic and French, cultural perspectives on education, sociolinguistic factors, and multilingualism. Through mixed-methods research involving surveys and interviews with teachers, the study uncovers challenges like language interference, cultural influences on motivation, access to resources, and identity navigation. Despite challenges, Algerian students show adaptability and resilience, suggesting opportunities for tailored language programs and cross-cultural communication strategies. The findings inform educators and policymakers about creating culturally responsive language education to enhance learning outcomes among Algerian Master students
