Abstract

This work aims to identify the various aspects of human engineering and to determine its degree of efficiency in terms of ensuring safety at the level of SONELGAZ (Electricity Generation Unit of the South-West, Béchar) , Which is characterized by the high risks faced by its workers. Thus, to carry out this work, descriptive analysis was used in the theoretical parts as well as in the treatment of the questionnaire handed to the technicians at risk. The PCA (Principal Component Analysis) was also used to determine the most influential factors on certain aspects of the questionnaire. Among the results obtained, it should be noted that the safety instructions and the provisions of certain agreements of international organizations related to safety at work, are among the most important factors as regards efficiency of human engineering. On the other hand, job satisfaction is one of the most important elements in adopting the principles of human engineering and, consequently, of ensuring occupational safety at work within the investigated company.
