Abstract

Through this research, we tried to study documentary credit and its role in reducingtherisksofforeigntradeandfinancingit,byfocusingontheLocal Development Bank (BDL) ; so as a field study we take the Company of Al- Omari Sons Moulin, as we tracked all stages of importing production equipment through the documentary credit for they ,swells knowing all The problems that it went through, and as a result of the study ,we concluded that the documentary credit country but seen effective role in reducing the risk of Repayment and ensuring the safe arrival of goods and equipment.
