Learning foreign languages is an essential and a demanding process in today's era of cross-cultural communication. According to Howard Gardner's theory of Multiple Intelligences, individuals possess various forms of intelligence, including linguistic intelligence, which greatly influences their language learning abilities. This research aims to investigate the impact of group work on enhancing students’ linguistic intelligence. Adopting a descriptive research design with a population of 15 high school students in the foreign languages stream and 3 English teachers. Both quantitative and qualitative data were collected through the use of students' questionnaires, teachers' interviews, and classroom observations. The findings of this study reveal the significant role of group work activities in effectively enhancing students' linguistic intelligence through promoting collaboration, communication, and language practice. Furthermore, the study emphasizes the importance of adapting language instruction to individual differences in intelligence. These findings have significant implications for language educators and curriculum designers, highlighting the need to incorporate group work strategies to optimize language learning outcomes. In conclusion, this research contributes to the understanding of linguistic intelligence and provides practical insights into the successful integration of group work in foreign language learning.fr
