Abstract
Abstract
This research explores digital rights under international law, aiming to clarify both the conceptual and legal framework of these emerging rights. The first chapter defines digital rights, outlines their characteristics, and distinguishes them from traditional rights, with a focus on key rights like digital freedom of expression, privacy protection, and cybersecurity. The second chapter examines international legal instruments, from the International Bill of Human Rights to specific frameworks like the Budapest Convention and the GDPR. The study concludes by addressing global efforts to safeguard digital rights in light of major challenges such as government surveillance, cyber crime, and corporate dominance, with references to relevant international case studies.
