Summary:
The topic of motherhood and childhood in Andalusia after the fall of the Umayyad dynasty seeks to shed light on all aspects related to the life of the mother and the boy in Andalusia, as it stems from a broad problem revolving around the possibility of historiography for them in light of the marginalization of this group, like other groups of society, in favor of the historiography of facts and events.
This research, of course, aims to reveal the reality of the mother and the child as a social segment in need of critical care within the Andalusian family system, regardless of its sects. The mother received great attention during pregnancy and beyond, and this included marital tremors and conflicts, during which many cases of divorce and separation occurred, even if their reasons varied.
The Andalusian mother was socially fair in all of her material rights, such as spending and inheritance. He took care of her child in many of the matters that a child needs in his first stage of life, such as maintenance and providing means for playing and exercising. The attention was extended to the health aspect, represented by the treatment of diseases.
And ways to prevent it and provide the necessary treatment for it. Many cases of violence have also appeared, although some of them are considered an implementation of the wise law of the Sharia.
He paid great attention to the religious education of the child, especially in his early stages, and then graduated with him in the rest of the sciences until his middle stages.
The Andalusians also took into account the intellectual protection of their children from all intrusions, whether intentional or unintentional, and this was translated into protecting them religiously, educationally, and morally.
