Abstract

This study aimed to identify the effect of psychological empowerment on the creative behavior of workers in the public hospital in Beni Suleiman, and to address the problem of the study ، we divided it into three chapters, two theoretical chapters in which the theoretical rooting of concepts, objectives, dimensions, methods, theories ... etc. For both psychological empowerment and creative behavior, and an applied chapter, in which a field-based examination was made on the extent to which the employees of the public hospital establishment in Bani Suleiman were aware of the concept of psychological empowerment, their level of application of it, and the impact of this on their creative behavior . In order to achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire was prepared consisting of three sections, the first section includes the demographic variables of the study sample individuals, the second section is on the subject of psychological empowerment , and the third section deals with the topic of creative behavior. In view of the exceptional circumstances imposed by the Corona pandemic, a questionnaire was distributed to a study sample, the number of members of this sample was counted to 50 individuals, as 50 questionnaires were distributed, from which 40 questionnaires were retrieved from which 40 valid questionnaires were retrieved, i.e. 80% of the total number of distributed questionnaires. Statistical packages for the social sciences spss, and finally we reached a set of results, the most important of which are : - The agreement of the study sample members that the level of feeling of applying psychological empowerment in the public hospital in Beni Suleiman was high. - That there is a high level of creative behavior among the sample members. - It was found that there are no statistically significant differences in the level of feeling of psychological empowerment and creative behavior among the study sample due to demographic variables (gender, age, educational qualification, years of experience). These results translate that there is a positive effect of psychological empowerment in the public hospital in Bani Suleiman in enhancing creative behavior by (59.6 %)
