Abstract

الملخص بالعربية: عرفت فترة القرن العشرين ظهور العديد من الكتابات التاريخية التي تناولت التاريخ الوطني ، تزعم هذه الحركة نخبة من المفكرين الجزائريين امثال : مبارك الميلي ،عبد الرحمان الجيلالي ،احمد توفيق المدني وغيرهم ممن ساهموا في كتابة تاريخ الجزائر الدي حاولت فرنسا تدنيسه بهدف القضاء على الهوية الوطنية والشخصية الجزائرية ،فكانت لها اهمية كبيرة باعتبار ان التاريخ ماضي الامم وحاضرها ومستقبلها الزاهر. Sammury : This study falls within the historical research related to the history of the national movement. Our research topic in this regard falls under the heading of the reform activity in western Algeria. Indeed, Sheikh Tayeb Mahaji had a mission of religious and social reform as well as defending the causes of his Arab and Islamic community. He relied on several methods in his activity to raise the awareness of the Algerian people through teaching reformist speeches that covered several fields, where his approach was based on the Holy Quran and the honorable Sunna
