Abstract

This study aimed to identify the extent to which modern payment systems are applied in Islamic banks in Algeria from the point of view of their employees. The researcher used the descriptive analytical approach. An easy sample of employees was selected in Al Baraka Bank of Algeria: Al-Qubba Agency, where 32 questionnaires were distributed to the employees of the Agency. A total of 32 responses were obtained with a 100% recovery rate for the staff questionnaire. The results of the study indicated that as it was found that Al Baraka Bank does not rely on modern payment systems to a large extent in order to provide various services, as it uses modern payment methods within the limits of its capabilities and the environment in which it operates, in compliance with the provisions of Islamic Sharia
