Abstract

موضوع المذكرة هو الحياة الإجتماعية والتعليم عند اليهود في مصر في الفترة العثمانية الممتدة من 1517/1914 وهو مقتبس من كتاب تاريخ يهود مصر لصاحبه يعقوب لاندوا. يدور موضوع المذكرة حول طبيعة الحياة الإجتماعية لليهود المصريين وأسس بناء العائلة اليهودية ومقوماتها إضافة إلى عادات اليهود في الخطبة والزواج والإنفصال والطلاق ، دون أن ننسى احتفالاتهم خاصة تلك التي تتعلق بأبنائهم . والجانب الآخر من المذكرة يتحدث عن التعليم عند اليهود وكل ما يتعلق به من تمويل ومدارس ومعلمين إضافة إلى مقارنة أوضاع التعليم عند اليهود المصريين خلال الفترة ما قبل القرن 19 والقرن19 واعتبار هذا التاريخ تاريخا فاصلا للتعليم اليهودي المصري انتقل خلاله التعليم من التخلف إلى التطور . The subject of the memorandum is the social life and education of Jews in Egypt, and it is excerpted from the book "The History of the Jews of Egypt" by Yaakov Landa. The memorandum focuses on the nature of the social life of Egyptian Jews, the foundations of building the Jewish family and its components, as well as Jewish customs in engagement, marriage, separation, and divorce, not to mention their celebrations, especially those related to their children. The other aspect of the memorandum discusses education among Jews and everything related to it, including funding, schools, and teachers, in addition to comparing the state of education among Egyptian Jews during the period before the 19th century and the 19th century, considering this date a pivotal moment for Jewish education in Egypt during which education transitioned from backwardness to development.
