دراسة قياسية لأثر البحث و التطوير على النمو الاقتصادي لبعض الدول النامية خلال الفترة (1990-2020)مع إشارة خاصة لحالة الجزائر

Abstract

This study aimed to measure and analyze the impact of research and development on economic growth in developing countries and Algeria as a special case during the period 1990-2020. The Swamy Random Coefficients Model (RCM) was used to estimate the study model for developing countries, and we also used the Autoregressive Distributed Time Lag Regression methodology ( ARDL), to estimate the study model for the case of Algeria, and the results of the study showed that research and development positively affects the economic growth of some developing countries, while it negatively affects the economic growth of some other countries. The results for the case of Algeria also showed that there is a positive impact of research and development activities on economic growth in Long term. key words : Research and development, Economic growth, Developing countries, Algeria, Swami Random Coefficient Model (RCM), Autoregressive Distributed Lag Time (ARDL) methodology.
