English language has become a global phenomenon in the 21st century, and its learning has become an important educational issue. Consequently, people from different countries and cultures who speak different languages can communicate with each other easily as long as they acquire the ability to use English. The growing demand for English, plus parents’ belief that learning English skills provide their children with a better education and better employment opportunities, are the forces driving a big number of parents to teach their children this language at younger and younger some as low as the ages of four and five. However, children tend to have short attention spans coupled with a lot of physical energy. Besides, they are much linked to their surroundings and are more interested in the physical and the tangible world than the abstract one. Therefore, preschool teachers have faced a problem in selecting a proper method goes in line with children’ requirements. From this point emerged the need to conduct a research that investigates whether using the Total Physical Response method in teaching English language to preparatory children would improve their learning.fr
