Abstract
The commercial agency contract is one of the most important contracts in modern commercial life, given its role in facilitating transactions between merchants and customers, especially in light of the expansion of commercial activity and the increase in the number of services. This contract is based on the commercial agent performing work in the name and on behalf of the principal. The mere conclusion of a commercial agency contract creates legal consequences for both parties, as both the principal and the agent are obligated to fulfill their obligations. Like other contracts, a commercial agency contract may terminate, either for general reasons applicable to all contracts, or for specific reasons related to the nature of this type of contract, such as the death of one of the parties, whether the agent or the principal.
