Trustworthy in Vehicular Social Networks (VSNs) Approach for the optimal exploration of the Vehicular Social Network (VSN).

Abstract

Vehicular transportation is an essential part of modern cities. With the integration of the Internet of Vehicles and social networks, vehicular social networks (VSNs) are promising to make traffic management easier for commuters, and with wireless technology available on each car, it is expected that huge amounts of information will be exchanged between vehicles or between vehicles and roadside infrastructure or passengers. The issue is that it becomes harder for commuters to distinguish between trusty and nontrusty commuters especially with the sranger ones, so to increase the safety it is necessary to build a trustworthy system. The aim of the study is to study and understand the vehicular social network and the trustworthy in VSN, the aim was to shed the light on a new reliable system model with a new methode that makes it easier to establish the trustwothy in the Vehicular Social Network VSN. The results of this study showed that the problem of achieving an indirect trust model mentioned in a previous study is in fact feasible. In this report before we talk about the main concept of the work we need first to present the VSNs, the start of the VSN and describe it’s architecure and applications, furthermore, we cover the part of the trust management in the VSNs and the recent research progress in measuring and modeling indirect trust in vehicular social networks.
