This study aimed to estimate the function of total family consumption in Algeria using an autoregressive model (VAR), during the period 1980-2020, by relying on a set of economic variables, in order to find out the extent of their impact on total family consumption, as we relied on the XL-stat software 2016 in the descriptive analysis of the study variables, and the Eviews.10 software in the standard analysis of the estimated model
