This study targets a sample of cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, aiming to explore the nature of the relationship between the level of resilience- as a constructive personality trait- and locus of control (internal vs external) as one of the core psychological variables. A descriptive approach was adopted using the case study techniques, supported by the following research tools: semi-structured interviews, the resilience scale developed by (Connor Kathryn) and (Davidson Jonathan), and the locus control scale by (Julian Rotter). The study was conducted on a sample of 4cases (2males and 2females) at the oncology department of Mohamed Boudiaf hospital in Medea, and Benyoucef Benkhedda hospital in Berrouaghia. The main findings included:  No clear relationship was found between resilience and locus of control (internal vs external) in cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy.  These patients demonstrated a high level of resilience. Variability was observed in the type of locus of control (internal vs external) among chemotherapy patients
