Historical Textes in English

Abstract

Within the scope of foreign language studies, we have selected fourteen texts addressing diverse issues from different historical periods. We have made an effort to vary the historical terminology, which is key to understanding historical texts. This approach aims to equip students who diligently work on understanding and translating these texts with the fundamental tools needed to handle foreign texts in the future, particularly by providing them with the basic mechanisms for working with historical texts in English. اخترنا ضمن وحدة اللغة الأجنبية أربعة عشر نصا يتناول قضايا مختلفة في فترات تاريخية مختلفة كذلك، وقد حاولنا التنويع في المصطلحات التاريخية التي تعد مفاتيح أساسية في فهم النص التاريخي، وهو ما يمكن الطالب الذي يجتهد في فهم النصوص وترجمتها من القدرة على التعامل مع النصوص الأجنبية مستقبلا من خلال تزويده بالآليات الأساسية للتعامل مع نص تاريخي باللغة الإنجليزية.
