Abstract

This study aims to highlit the role of bank governance in reducing bank default, by first trying to identify the theoretical framework of bank governance and implementation mechanisms, and the principles that regulate the workin banks, and secondly to all the concepts related to banking failure, and explain the causes and effection the banking sector, methods of measurement, as well as methode of treatement, we then tried to determine the extent to which this was applied in the field, by designing a field study in the form of a questionnaire distributed to three banking agencies (BNA, BADR, BEA), as a study sample and processed through program SPSS.Which conclude that banking governance is the most effective solution to solve the problem of banking stumbling, and reforming the banking environement that can compete abroad.
