Abstract

Monetary policyis an important instrument of macro economic policy, wherei tintervenes in the national economy through various instruments to achieve economic and monetary stability and push forward development. The independence of the Central Bank is the best solution to treat inflation and increaseit scredibility, despite the global trend towards grantingin dependence to central banks, but many economists oppose this trend and all based on hisviews, and as the central bank isresponsible for the formulation and development of monetarypolicy, thisstudyaims to show the role Independence of the Central Bank on the course of monetary policy and increaseits effectiveness in Algeria during the period (2013-2017)
