Study summary: Through this study, we seek to shed light on a group of people with special needs, that is, the hearing impaired category. Our study aimed to reveal the linguistic effectiveness in the oral narration of this group through a comparison between deaf children with cochlear implants and hearing-equipped children. Our study was conducted on a sample chosen in an intentional manner estimated at (12) children divided into two groups, where the first group consisted of (6) children carrying cochlear implants and (6) children equipped with hearing aids, ranging in age from 8 to 12 years. We have relied on the comparative descriptive approach that is commensurate with our study, and it is a kind of descriptive approach. We also relied on the intelligence test of Ahmed Zaki Al-Musawwar to adjust our sample. As for the other tests used to verify the hypotheses, the story-telling item from the Chevri Muller test . and the discourse Network discourse analysis researcher Nawani Hussain. We also relied on some statistical methods that are in line with the subject of the study, and our results revealed that all partial hypotheses were fulfilled except for the second hypothesis, and therefore we can answer the general hypothesis: There are differences in the ability to achieve linguistic effectiveness in oral narration between deaf children with cochlear implants and hearing-equipped children.fr
